GEPCO Wall Detector Metal Detector Profile Detector Wall Scanner without battery
This detector makes it easier to find electrical cables, metal profiles or other objects in walls.
ATTENTION - The detector must be calibrated before each measurement, a 9V battery is required for operation - NOT INCLUDED
In the instructions you will find a detailed description of how to calibrate the measuring device correctly before each use. The detector can only recognise hidden objects correctly after calibration for each measurement!
Please note that a lack of calibration can lead to incorrect measurements or incorrect information on the display. We therefore recommend that you follow the instructions exactly and carry out the calibration before each use of the detector.
- The metal and profile detector is a useful tool when renovating or refurbishing your home.
- It allows you to quickly and easily locate hidden metal profiles or pipes in walls, preventing accidental damage or interference with installations during the work.
- With the profile and metal detector, you can precisely determine where metal construction profiles, electrical cables or other elements hidden in the walls are located.
- This allows you to accurately plan and drill holes for nails, screws or hooks without the risk of accidentally damaging existing installations.
- This is particularly important when carrying out work such as installing shelves, a TV on the wall, ceiling lighting or installing new electronic devices.
Using the detector
- To use the detector, simply place the measuring device against the wall surface and move it slowly along the surface.
- When the device detects a metal object or wire, a corresponding symbol is displayed on the screen and an acoustic signal is also emitted.
- This intuitive operation allows us to quickly find the elements we are interested in.

- Visual and audible alarm - Equipped with a visual (LED diode) and audible alarm to detect live wires.
- Automatic switch-off - The automatic switch-off function after 5 minutes of inactivity saves battery power.

Intended use
The detector has been developed for many applications and is used to locate various elements:
- Wires - Allows you to easily and quickly locate hidden electrical wires in walls, ceilings and floors.
- Ferromagnetic metals - Detects metals with magnetic properties such as iron, steel or nickel-plated iron alloys. Ideal for locating metal structures, beams or frames.
- Non-ferrous metals - Also enables the identification of non-ferromagnetic metals such as aluminium, copper or brass. This allows hidden pipes, water pipes and valuable objects made of such metals to be found.
- Profiles - Enables the detection of metal profiles hidden under the surface of walls, ceilings or floors.
